It's all about the Balanced Beauty facial.

Last week I had the most amazing facial with Sasha from Balanced Beauty, Sasha has her own beauty room (it's lush) at her home in Easton, here in Bristol.  She has a tempting list of treatments on offer which can also be provided in your own home.

Sasha has her own range of natural skincare products created by Faith from Faith & Betty, who has a background in complimentary health and herbal medicine and has over 20 years experience in essential oils.  Sasha used the blend for dryer skin types on me which includes rose hip oil, frankincense, lavender and sandalwood.  Needless to say, the smells were incredible!

Sasha has a natural approach to beauty and incorporates a lot of healing, ancient techniques and energy work in to her treatments, it was such a refreshing approach to a facial.  With the condition of our skin being so greatly effected by what we put in to our bodies, it makes so much sense to make a facial more about the relaxation benefits as well as the beautiful products.  I have to say my skin felt amazing afterwards but what I also noticed was how calm and relaxed I felt (currently needed with a tricky toddler at home!), even more so than a full body massage.  The facial includes a super relaxing massage for your neck, chest, and head before moving on to the face.  After cleansing and massaging, Sasha uses reflexology style techniques to release tension and drain the lymphatics.  After applying a mask to my face, she wrapped my shoulders and head in warm towels and while I lay on the heated bed she massaged my hands and feet - now someone tell me that doesn't sound like absolute heaven!  I need to go back soon or I will start having withdrawal symptoms.

I felt so looked after, Sasha has the perfect balance between being super professional and really relaxed and friendly.  Her attention to detail and genuine passion shows she obviously has a real love of what she does, this is an experience well worth treating yourself to - I can't wait to go back for more!

Check out Sasha's Instagram feed, it's one of my favourites!
