Natural Spa Factory | Review

The Natural Spa Factory is based in Bath, here in the South West, started by a husband and wife duo who wanted to create natural spa quality products to be used in spas but also at home.  They now supply some of the worlds most prestigious spas and boutique hotels, as well as their products being available to buy online.

The first thing I reached for was the Gold Dry Body Oil, it smells amazing and has a slight shimmer, a more subtle version of the Nars Body Glow or the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse which makes it perfect for bare limbs on summer days.

The next thing I tried was the Invigorating Body Oil with Rosehip & Mint, perfect after a morning shower while skin is still damp, it has a gorgeous fresh and slightly sweet scent that wakes you up and feels like a real luxury on the skin.  It would make a great present for someone who loves body products but already owns all the cult favourites.  This is my favourite of the bunch, the smell is addictive!

The facial skincare has you convinced straight away, feeling gentle but effective with amazing, natural spa like scents (makes sense I suppose!), the Illuminate Gel Cleanser being particularly lovely with its thick gel consistency applied on to dry skin its great at removing makeup and is completely non stripping.  It turns in to a milk when you add water and leaves your skin feeling slightly cleaner than a balm or oil would, which is nice in the summer months when skin is a little more oily.  My husband (first time I have said that hehe, we got married a couple of weeks ago) has also been enjoying it!

The 23 Carat Gold Moisturiser is regenerating and hydrating with lots of great ingredients in there, making it a perfect anti ageing option but also great for anyone, if you go and read the description on their website, I can almost guarantee you will want to try it.

I can't comment on the packaging as I have been sent sample packs, to me, it is an important part of a product even though ultimately it comes down the effectiveness of the product but from looking on their website, the Gold Dry Body Oil has a gorgeous pipet style black bottle and a few of the cleansers and serums look like they have pump style bottles which I know a lot of people like for hygiene and also controlling the amount they use, some are in pots but I'm not sure what type.  To me, pots need to be glass or heavy to feel luxury and do justice to the beautiful ingredients inside, but perhaps thats just me being fussy!

I am yet to try the rest but a quick play and sniff has me excited to try it all, this is a lovely natural based brand with high quality products that don't cost the earth.  Also lovely for those of you based in the South West to use a local brand or give as presents.

*This is not a sponsored post but I was sent the products for review purposes.  All opinions are always my own.
