Pale nails

Pale polishes are my current favourite colours to wear on my nails, I love pastel and off white shades, especially with a tan.  I have been wearing the L'oreal Colour Riche Polish in Lemon Meringue loads, it has a built in gel top coat so lasts pretty well on me, bearing in mind I usually struggle to get a whole day chip free, the three days I get from this one is pretty impressive.  Its a lovely easy summery shade that goes with anything.  I felt a bit silly when I purchased the Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Coconut on the same day as they are practically the same shade but the L'oreal one has a slight yellow tone and the Barry M one, a pinky tone.  Both lovely in their own right, so I couldn't choose!  The brush on the L'oreal one is great and makes it really quick to apply, while the Barry M one is just standard.  I have also only just tried the Bourjois 1 Second nail polish remover, its amazing!  I'd say maybe more like 2 or 3 seconds for each nail but its so much less messy than doing it with cotton pads and definitely encourages me to paint my nails more.  I was lucky enough to find it on Homesense too, so it only cost me 3 or 4 pounds!

I painted these with a toddler running constantly, back and forth in to my legs while trying to grab the bottle of polish at the same time.  As a result, not the neatest!
