Shopping: Space NK

Tuesday, 8 April 2014

Last Thursday evening I popped along to the VIB event at Cabot Circus in Bristol which was offering shoppers money off their purchases as well chances to win handbags and get treatments at the pop up beauty pods dotted around, I joined some of Bristols bloggers for a glass of champers before hand and then trotted off to peruse the shops!  My main aim was to take advantage of the 10% discount in the beauty halls and pick up some new things!  Typically all the products I had my eye on were from Space NK which wasn't taking part in the discount evening but I couldn't resist so I picked up some bits anyway!  Obvs.

The first thing I spotted and knew I had to have was the Lipstick Queen Endless Summer lipstick in Perfect Wave, a gorgeous bright pink that made me go 'Oooooh!'  The moisturising formula provides a sheer to medium finish which feels really nourishing on the lips with its natural oils and vitamin E, it glides on so smoothly and isn't sticky in the slightest.  The colour lasts really well - this is officially my new favourite lippy!

Having not been in possession of a Nars Laguna bronzer in quite some time, I decided, with summer coming up, that I MUST have it!  You have all heard about this bronzer a million times but every time I go back to it I am reminded that it is possibly my favourite product EVER, seriously ever, ever.  If you haven't tried this before and you like a subtle, bronzed glow, just buy it.

The last thing on my list was the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, another hugely talked about product with the  beauty community, I have loved this product for years, ever since the days when I used to work in Space NK and spritz my face with it every 30 seconds!  You can use this before moisturiser, after makeup application or any time through out the day, it has the most refreshing combination of essential oils including organic balm mint, Rosemary, orange blossom and rose.  It adds a bright, dewy-ness to your complexion and a quick spray is perfect for when skin starts to feel tired and dehydrated throughout the day.

Please excuse my towel still on my head but I wanted to show you what the products looked like on and Charlie hadn't woken up from his nap yet so I couldn't dry my hair!  In the last picture you can see the makeup I used in another one of my 5 minute makeup routines!  I had, of course,  also had a lovely spray of the Beauty Elixir which takes away any powdery-ness so the skin looks like,
