My Week in Pictures #1

Sunday, 20 April 2014

I love reading peoples Sunday round up posts, and since I love taking photos on my iphone and usually posting far too many to Instagram, I thought it would be the perfect way to sum up my favourite moments of the past week.  Early week started well with a catch up dinner with some of my best friends, we ate tasty Vietnamese food at Pho Hanoi on Gloucester Road in Bristol where I live and had a glass of wine at Urban Standard before we sensibly ended our Tuesday night at a reasonable hour.  I recommend both places if you haven't been and live in Bristol!  I went to a wedding on Friday in Sussex and after deliberating, as you do, over a few too many pink lipsticks which you can read about here, I went for a combo of the above two favourites.  The day after the wedding we stopped in Brighton to visit friends, I always forget how much I love it there!

Charlie loved running around the grounds of the Buxted Park Hotel where we stayed for the wedding and we were lucky enough to have some gorgeous weather!  Ben thought it would be a fun idea to show Charlie the sea in Brighton so we merrily skipped over the pebbles to the waves, stripped Charlie's shoes and socks off and attempted a little paddle.  Charlie had very different ideas though and was not impressed with the freezing water and cold bare feet... very cute though.

On the drive home from Brighton we went past the flight path for heathrow and both times had really low flying planes go over us, so cool!  Sunday saw the arrival home (from their American hols) of my newly engaged little sister and fiance!  We enjoyed some lovely present opening (mine included a Sephora purchase so needless to say I was a happy girl), some father/son posing, a lovely home cooked lunch (thanks mum) and of course, a glass of prosecco.  All in all, a lovely Easter weekend and a great week.
