February Favourites

Monday, 3 March 2014

To kick off my first monthly favourites I am bowing down to my currently beloved La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +, its still keeping my skin clear and I couldn't be more thankful!!  I have felt a couple of rumblings beneath the surface of my skin recently, expecting them to erupt, but so far I have had nothing since I started using it just over two weeks ago.  The L'oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening shampoo, conditioner and double serum has been a surprising hit as well, I have genuinely noticed that my hair feels thicker and stronger after using them.  Very clever for  an affordable brand!  Another product in the hair category is the Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce texturising spray (which I forgot to photograph!), it takes the flat silky look out of my hair and gives it a bit of oomph with the least sticky, yucky texture I have experienced yet.  Makeup favourites are the Seventeen Stay Time concealer and Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, I'm a bit late to the party with these discoveries but I'm glad I finally got there!  The concealer has a lovely non drying texture, with great coverage and staying power and the foundation reminds me of Sheer Glow by Nars!

My non beauty favourites this month are my plimsolls from the new look sale, £5 and I haven't taken them off which is pretty great!  They have some lovely pastel ones on the website now.  Lastly my most favourite thing of all is this blog, its so much fun to have a home for all my beauty rambles.

Charlie's February favourite is 'Peep Inside The Zoo' written by Anna Milbourne.

  1. Lovely read as always! Is the Bourjois really an alternative to NARS?? Love the coverage of Sheer Glow but could happily do without the price-tag! LDH xox
