Vintage Inspired Wedding Hair & Makeup

Sunday, 16 February 2014

I'm very lucky to have a beautiful lady as sister and a talented photographer as a brother in law, so naturally I utilised both of their skills and got them together to do a shoot!  I fancied doing a vintage inspired wedding look as I thought this would suit my sister well,  be fun do and also fun to shoot.

The products I used:

MAC Strobe Cream
MAC Moisture Cover concealer NW15
MAC Studio Fix foundation (through an airbrush) NC15
MAC Prep + Prime Powder
Laura Mercier Blusher in Rose Petal
Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in Love is Blonde
Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink
MAC Omega eyeshadow
Laura Mercier Sandstone eyeshadow
Maxfactor Masterpiece waterproof mascara
Eylure individual lashes
Nars Lipliner Jungle Red
Ellis Faas Creamy Lips L101 Ellis Red
Skindinavia No More Shine Makeup Finish spray

Photographer: Ben Adams
Model: Rosie Duckett

For the hair I sprayed through some Elnett Volume Heat Protect Spray, blasted it with the hair dryer and the put in some heated rollers.  I let them cool, brushed it through, backcombed and arranged it how I wanted it and then sprayed a final mist of Elnett Hairspray in Supreme Hold, simples!

I hope you like the finished look, let me know if you would wear or have worn something similar for your wedding.

You can follow Ben on instagram @ben_adams88, needless to say he has some amazing pictures on there.  You can follow Rosie too if you like!  @rosieduckett
